I don't know my serial number or I lost it. How can I get it back?

I can not copy a DVD, I get a copy error!

How do I update to the latest version?

You can download the latest version of DVD neXt COPY on our website.

DVDneXtCOPY Main Client has encountered a problem and needs to close.

You need to completely remove all versions from your computer. If you need help to do so, click here.

How do I create a hard drive library? How do I save the movie on my computer?

Creating a hard drive library can only be done with the Standard and Pro versions of DVD neXt COPY, The XPress version does not have this option. To save a movie to your hard drive you need to deselect Burn After Convert in the New Projects Window. This will convert the DVD movie to your Project Library on your hard drive. Once it is on your hard drive you can click on Projects in the Main Control Panel, click on the project you want to burn and click next. Select the No. of Copies, insert medium and burn. When the burning process is complete, the Project Library Burner Window will remain open. You can then click on back and insert another blank disc and click Burn.

I am getting a Cyclic Redundacy Errors

This is usually caused by a damaged or a dirty DVD. However it could also be caused by a flawed DVD or a (Bad Press) from the manufacture. Please make sure to clean your DVD very thoroughly and try it again. You can also try to copy using MOVIE ONLY. That sometimes helps with a Cyclic redundancy check error with certain DVD movies.

I lost my download. Where can I download the latest version of DVD neXt COPY?

Program does not recognize my drive. I cannot see my drive in the settings window.

Click on Settings in the Main Control Panel. Then click on Rescan. When the scan is through, see if you can select your drive in the Select DVD Burner window. If that does not work, put a DVD movie in the drive that is not showing in the program. See if it will auto start DVD neXt COPY.

DVD Playback Issues
- The copy plays on my computer but not in my DVD player.
- My copy skips and is pixilated.
- It freezes in my DVD player.
- Cannot scan or fast forward

If you are able to make copies that play on your computer but they will not play back on your DVD player, or the burn process will not even start, we recommend you go here to check the compatibility of your DVD burner, DVD player and DVD media. There are so many different combinations it is important to know if you need to change the DVD media that you are copying to. It could be as simple as just changing the brand of blank disks you are using to be compatible with your other hardware.

This site has a lot of good info about burner, player and media type compatibility. You can enter all your specifications in the pull down menus and it will recommend the best combinations.
You may also want slow down the speed of your burner in the settings to ensure the best quality.


How do I change my regions settings?

Region settings are automatically incorporated into DVD neXt COPY and a window will pop up if they need to be changed.
