Getting better search results with plugins

This article explains how to install additional search plugins to produce better results when searching for music and videos.

By targeting music community websites and video portals, these plugins can multiply the number of your matches.

To add plugins

  1. Visit our partners's Audials forum (http://audials.com/plugins/en).
  2. Download a whole plugin pack (*.aplp), or a plugin for a specific source (*.aplg).
  3. Save the file to your computer (e.g. to your Desktop).
  4. In Oceans XStream, click Options > Search plugins > Add...
  5. Choose the plugin you have saved on your computer.
  6. Restart Oceans XStream.
  7. Optional: Click Options > Search plugins to see if the new plugins are active.
