Option 1: Block a Person Using the TikTok Mobile App: iOS and Android Devices

Step 1: Launch the TikTok app on your mobile phone and locate the person's profile you wish to block. Use the Search Bar to find the user profile.

Step 2: After locating the concerned user's profile page, click the Share (arrow) icon located in the top-right corner of the screen.

Option 2: Block a Person Using the TikTok Website

Like the TikTok app, blocking a person on the TikTok website is equally easy. Here's how to block someone on the TikTok website in a few steps.

Step 1: Open the TikTok website in your web browser. Locate the profile you desire to block.

Step 2: After you find the desired user profile page, tap the three horizontal dots (located to the right of their name). Then tap Block from the listed options.

Step 3: Hit Block again to confirm your selection.

Block from Comments or Direct Messages

As of September 2026, you can also block accounts from comments on your own videos. Open the comments, press and hold a comment, choose Manage multiple comments, select the comments, tap More, choose Block accounts, and confirm. TikTok allows up to 100 accounts in one batch; this is a batch size, not a stated daily or lifetime account limit.

For an existing direct-message thread, open the conversation, open its menu, choose Block, and confirm. This route lets you act from the conversation without using the profile menu.

How Does Blocking Someone on TikTok Affect You
